The Wax Quail is an unlockable Uncommon item in Risk of Rain 2. While sprinting, jumping will boost the character 10 meters forwards. This distance increases by 10 meters for every stack.
Completing the "Going Fast Recommended" Challenge unlocks this item.
The Mercenary's and the Heretic's extra jumps are also boosted by Wax Quail, but jumps from Hopoo Feathers are not.
