The Lesser Wisp is a returning enemy in Risk of Rain 2.

Behavior

The Lesser Wisps are a common sight during the first levels, and may spawn in massive numbers later on. Their attack pattern consists of slowly flying towards the player and firing a medium-range fireblast at them. This attack has a visible aimline and an audible charge-up. The attack consists of three shots fired in a shotgun-like spread, and, provided it deals enough damage, can therefore kill players even through One Shot Protection.

Due to their lightness, knockback can send them flying across the map. That is, if the attack does not kill them outright, given their low hp. Since they appear in tight flocks, jumping electric attacks or on-kill effects can be devastating against them.
